Chevrolet is committed to helping the armed forces wherever they can, and last night at the Texas State Fair was no exception.
Members of the Dallas-Fort Worth USO and veterans were invited to take part in a special test drive event with Chevrolet.
Once event-goers arrived at the fair, they were invited to Chevrolet’s test track to take a spin in the newest and most popular vehicles. The Camaro clearly was the favorite, going out for the most drives around the track during the event and looking spectacular against the fair backdrop.
Following the test drives, the invitees were treated to some Texas State Fair style snacks – yes, you guessed it, Texas favorites and of course, some fried food. The food was set out in the Chevy Volt Lounge of the fair grounds, where everyone could not only rest their feet and relax on the hot evening, but also charging up their devices using the power cords at each table.
If you are planning to attend the fair, be sure to check out the Chevrolet display, test track and Chevy concert series stage in the East Park Plaza, and also check out our Heritage Center (did we mention it is air conditioned?!) and truck display in the Truck Zone along the Automobile Building. And be sure to check out the concerts each night that will be taking place on the Chevrolet Main Stage.
