RE-Actions: Welcoming the Volt to the Neighborhood

Volt in Dallas Neighborhood

We are very proud of our vehicles at GM, so we want to share the experience of our lineup with as many people as possible. Throughout 2011, we will be sharing our vehicles with individuals in our local communities, with the purpose of getting people behind the wheel of our cars to tell us their RE-Actions.

The first Chevrolet Volts have officially touched down across Texas!

And while we’ve checked it out at the auto shows, watched videos of people test driving and seen people taking it on a trip for a week, we’re now ready to see the Volt as a regular in someone’s driveway.

Last week, we met up with Scott Burford and his daughter, Mary Catherine Burford, who just so happen to be some of Dallas’ first Volt owners.

After a few weeks with the vehicle, we wanted to hear – how’s it going?

Now tell us, would you be ready to switch over to electric? Would a vehicle, like the Volt, be a good addition to your lifestyle?

I’m very happy major car manufacturers are maikng a major investment in electric/gas cars. I was not aware the volt also had a gas engine also, makes it even more desirable. I am very interested in one of these cars. Any thing to get us out of this Gasoline nightmare, and beginning to eliminate the potential of another Deep Water Horizon is fabulous.

Glad that you’re interested in saving gas and the planet. Please check out the Volt when you consider buying a new car.
