So, we know Texas is home to some of the best filmmakers in the country. SXSW film and interactive festival is proof of that. We also know that Texas is home to some of the biggest football fans in the country. Super Bowl XLV held in Dallas last year was proof of that.
That’s why we want to reach out to all of you filmmakers in our region who have caught the film bug for our new Chevrolet Route 66 global competition.
In partnership with MOFILM, Chevy is launching this competition for filmmakers around the world to enter for a chance to win a 30-second spot during Super Bowl XLVI in 2012.
To enter, participants should sign up to download the brief from Chevy at www.Mofilm.com/ChevroletRoute66.
They then have until noon on December 1, 2011 to submit their short film that captures their interpretation of Chevrolet and road trips.
We want to bring the prize back to Texas, so remember, be original. No matter if you’re from the country or the city, you have a story to tell. We hope you’ll share it with us. Good luck!
